A Message from President Director, NMA Indonesia
As the representative of Nihon M&A Center Indonesia(NMAI), I have the responsibility not only to run our local business, but also to translate the Group’s philosophy into action on the ground.
The leadership principles of our Nihon M&A Center Group were born in Japan, shaped by decades of experience. However, leadership is never something that can simply be copied and applied unchanged. It must be understood, internalized, and lived within the local context. This is what Next GENESIS means for us in Indonesia.

Vision and Values
Our vision defines where we are going, and our core values define how we get there.
We aim to grow from regional revitalization to the revitalization of Japan, and ultimately to become the world’s No.1 comprehensive M&A company. This vision reflects our belief that M&A is not just about transactions, but about connecting people, businesses, and futures—across regions and across borders.
Guiding this journey is our core value: Be a Professional. To us, professionalism means more than results. It means showing the utmost respect for our clients, committing fully and without hesitation, and always doing the right thing in the right way. It requires courage to walk away from the wrong deal, intensity to pursue excellence, and integrity to speak up when something feels wrong.
By staying true to our vision and living our values every day, we ensure that our growth is not only strong, but meaningful and worthy of trust.
“Be a Professional” as a Leadership Philosophy
Our core value, Be a Professional, is often mistaken as a call for technical excellence alone. In reality, it is a moral and human standard of leadership.
A professional leader is someone who understands that M&A is not merely a transaction, but the continuation of people’s lives, businesses, and hopes. Respecting clients to the utmost—even to the point of breaking a deal—requires courage. Walking away from short-term gains to protect long-term trust is one of the hardest leadership decisions, yet also one of the most defining.
Leadership, in this sense, means choosing what is right over what is easy.
Being a Professional in the Indonesian Context
Our core value, Be a Professional, comes from Japan, but its meaning deepens when applied locally.
In Indonesia, relationships matter deeply. Trust is built over time, through sincerity, patience, and respect. To be a professional leader here means understanding our clients beyond financials—learning their history, their family background, and what their business represents to their community.
At times, professionalism may require us to recommend not proceeding with a transaction, even when the opportunity looks attractive. Making such decisions demands courage. But leadership is precisely about protecting long-term trust over short-term gain.
My Commitment, and My Request to the Clients
Next GENESIS will not succeed because it was declared in Tokyo. It will succeed only if we, here in Indonesia, choose to lead.
We will continue to serve our clients with the utmost respect and lead with responsibility, integrity, and unwavering commitment.
If we do this together, Indonesia will not only be a growth market for the Group—it will become a model of leadership in the Next GENESIS.
